I'm a helicopter dog mom to my sweet toy chocolate labradoodle, Presley Ann. A car ride wouldn't be complete if she wasn't on my lap licking her chops begging for a pup cup every time I pull through a fast food restaurant. I'm based out of Ankeny, Iowa and completely in love with living closer to family and the metro of Des Moines. I feel most myself with my camera in hand. Being welcomed in by my clients to creatively photograph their stories is honestly everything to me. When I say I love my job, I truly mean I am crazy in love with what I do.

Photography had always been a passion of mine, but I never really viewed it as a potential career until my college roommate asked me if I could shoot her wedding. In college I shot sports which is completely different than a having a couple, family or senior in front of my camera. I was very hesitant at first to shoot her wedding because I realize how significant wedding photos are. There are so many moments you can't pause and go back to. It wasn't soon after that experience where I realized my career would be going down this creative path and my calling to this life would be found.
Now entering my fourth year as a wedding and lifestyle photographer, I have had the honor to witness and capture lots of special moments expressing love between my couples and milestones of peoples lives. Photographing the emotions and personalities and offering the gift of remembering is why I love what I do. I believe you can never have too many photos. Photos gift you the opportunity to feel moments of life all over again.
